| - I recently changed jobs and had found a new nail salon that I love; however, I had a busy upcoming week at work and needed to get my nails done on a Sunday afternoon (the new salon I found is not open on Sundays). I stumbled upon Cachet and thought I would give it a try. This location recently opened and is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, that is where the positives stop for me. I went in for SNS, and including the removal of my current SNS, the whole visit lasted nearly 2 hours. You would think that after that long, I would have beautiful nails, but you would be wrong. I asked for an oval shape, and I received more of an almond shape. Not caring for the almond shape, I asked my technician to even out the edges more and what I received is only my guess. I also had to ask the technician to clean up my cuticles. I never would have guessed that wasn't included in the $45 charge for SNS as it is at other salons and would cost $10 extra. The owner/manager did take the $10 off for me as I was not informed it was an additional charge. It has now been five days, and two of my nails are starting to chip. I have had SNS on my nails in the past for nearly three weeks with no chipping. Additionally, I was never asked to wash my hands before my nails were dipped in the SNS powder, which is concerning to me as you never know what is lurking on everyone's hands. As such, I will not be returning to Cachet in Southpark and will recommend friends and family go elsewhere.
