Came here a few weeks ago for a business dinner. We started off with the board of five Wisconsin cheeses. These were oh-so-good. It came with a lovely jam that paired perfectly with some of the cheeses. The lobster bisque was too heavy for me and I couldn't get through it. I ordered the scallops, which were good but not great. I tried some of the game hen and it was spectacular. Get the game hen! Oyster and shiitake mushrooms + potato gnocchi.. Drool.
The ambiance was quiet and cozy and our waiter was fantastic. I don't think it's the best for a large group but it's nice for an intimate dinner. The prices were decent for the quality and quantity of food you get. I really enjoyed being able to choose between small/large portions! My only qualm would be the amount of time we spent here. It took us quite a long time to get our food and we spent much longer at dinner than expected. Not sure when I'll be back in Madison, but this place was charming!
