  • This place is THE place to go for red velvet. I call myself a red velvet snob because I am obsessed with it and have tried it from just about everywhere that makes/sells it. However, no one can seem to get red velvet right. Not sure why. Except this place. They are most definitely the best in the city. And I've told them that-they were pretty pleased to hear that! They use real cream cheese icing (which is to die for), where a lot of other places say they do, but it's just not. I've gotten the red velvet cupcakes many times since discovering them 4 years ago and have never been disappointed. I also order a 5" red velvet cake every year for my boyfriend and I for our anniversary. So so good. It's 3 layers and comes to $22. I have no problem paying that price for something so delicious. I actually just went in yesterday to place my order for this year :) I've also tried the carrot cake cupcake-just as good. I should probably try something new next time, as I'm sure everything is top notch, but I just can't get away from my beloved red velvet. Check them out, you won't regret it!
