| - Let me preface this by saying that while I'm giving four stars, there are still quirks about this location that might be grievances for other folks.
ESA was a brief stay for me (a week), and it was worth the price I got it for ($50~/night). You get a decent room - with the most powerful budget A/C units in the world, mind you - that has a mini kitchen (stove, fridge, microwave). If you plan on being there for a while, stock up on groceries and grab a set of pots & pans from the front desk to cook with.
Alright, now for the not-so-solid parts. Because of the very budget oriented living space, this hotel is popular with a certain group of people that might not be so desirable to meet while at the hotel. I don't want to be specific, but there's a small possibility that chance encounters with others will be unpleasant, so try to avoid people overall. I will add that the hotel reception is nothing short of courteous though - they're pretty good folks (and a major portion of why I'm giving 4 stars). Additionally, the free wifi here is just downright awful, so don't expect smooth internet surfing without paying $4 a day OR $25 a month for higher speeds. The last thing that I'm sure everyone has already mentioned is that there is no daily room service. You'll get a weekly room service starting on the 8th day of your stay, and for towels/toiletries, you'll have to swap em over by the front desk every now and then for fresh ones.
Overall, this place is livable. If you have any minor issues, don't be afraid to call up the front desk and ask for help. Just know that there are inherent problems that won't be so easily resolved due to the budget nature of the residence.
