  • I was in the area from out of town clearing out my storage unit for a garage sale and needed a place to stay for the night and this was the worst experience at hotel in my life. The first room they gave me seemed rundown (spackled unpainted holes on the wall) but ok, though I had to go up the back stairs which was filthy with garbage on the stairs, etc. Got to the room took a quick shower and after an hour realized the A/C wasn't working (it was off when I got to the room) on an 80+ degree day. So I was switched to a newer clean looking room at the front of the hotel. In the new room I was getting ready to go to bed and saw a bug on the bed near the pillows. I jumped out and grabbed it with a tissue and flushed it down the toilet. Before getting back into the bed I moved the mattress and saw a bed bug infestation! Grabbed all my things and immediately checked out. Then shook out all my luggage in their parking lot. I booked this room through #Priceline.com as one of their express deals and I will never use that service again. They did refund my money but how they can even offer this hotel as an option on their site is beyond me. Lastly in the process of cleaning out my storage unit I got a small cut on my lower leg calf and after staying in this hotel for a few hours received a staph infection. So to boot I got to pay a $200 doctor bill after staying in this dump for not even a full night.
