| - Passing by Fiamma, I could already tell we were in for a fancy dinner. Elegance, cool dark brown hues, dim lighting, black table napkins, and wine glasses polish off the whole look.
The front podium staff is extremely accommodating!
MaryGrace was genuinely nice and understanding when I called to tell her our Saturday 6:30pm party of 10 would be 5 min late because a majority was wearing heels for a bachelorette dinner. She even took a group photo outside for us prior to leaving later that night.
David, our waiter for the night, asked about time restrictions and never left our waters empty. He wasn't sure if they offered the wine I wanted so he sent over Caleb to answer any questions. Unfortunately, they didn't have Bigaro from Piedmont, Italy but a moscato worked just fine for our toast.
We decided to order two crispy calamari for apps. I really liked the complimentary olive bread with the tomato butter. The white bean lentil spread was ok. My entree was the short rib raviolini with black truffle cream: smaller dish than I thought but was filling due to bread/apps. Tasty, flavorful, and something I'd never had before. I would eat this again. Specials for the night included seafood risotto, surf and turf (steak & lobster), and penne with cream sauce & prosciutto. Risotto seemed popular at my table, the usual dish on the menu had a white sauce base.
I found it funny that a waiter cleaning up dishes offered to feed my friend the last morsel of fried calamari on her app plate.
The wine list was on a tablet, pretty cool.
