  • Colectivo offers great food and beverages in a very cool environment. It's one of the first places I visited in Madison and I haven't been able to stop! It's in a great location and is right on the bus line. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing. I haven't had pastries... Not sure how I've had self-control because they are gigantic and look amazing. I'm a tea person, and they have a decent selection both to order in store and to purchase in tins. They are not kidding when they say their chai latte is spicy - delicious! I appreciate the availability of soy milk as a milk alternative, and the fact that they provide extra hot water for a tea bag! I've been coming to Colectivo regularly for a writing group, and I love it. It can get very busy but I work well with background sounds, so if you need silence to work, it may not be the best spot for you. There are plenty of outlets to plug in and I have never felt like I've overstayed my welcome. Plus, there are a host of snacks and meals to choose from if my appetite grows while working! :)
