  • I've used Tom Malloy insurance Company for auto and homeowners insurance for 7 years. I was satisfied with their agents Ruben and Martha. Before my coverage was due to expire and automatically renew, I would call them and they would take time that day to research and call me back with quotes from other insurance companies that they represented, finding me the best rate for the coverage I wanted. How things have changed-will no longer use them for ANY of my insurance needs. The person that I have been dealing with for the past 12 days assured me that she would get back to me within the next 3 days. Said they were short staffed. Since she didn't call or email me, I called her on the 4th day. She emailed me a quote for auto insurance on the 5th day. She had informed me during our first conversation that my current insurer no longer offered auto insurance in my area due to the the high number of claims and cost to them, that this area was not as profitable to them as they had anticipated. The quote she sent me was for $1,745.00year for the same coverage I currently have, which was $808.00/year(with a very reputable company). I was NOT going to pay $1,745.00/year to insure our 7 year old car. My husband started doing some research. Just to verify that our current insurer no longer covered this area, I called them. To my surprise, they still cover this area-BUT not through the Tom Malloy Insurance Company!!??!! i could not believe that I had been downright lied to! Absolutely Do Not recommend using this agency.
