  • It makes me sad to give Bier Markt only 3 stars, because it really is one of my favorite places in town! With a great beer, wine and cocktail selection, great food and knowledgeable staff, what more could one want? Servers and owners who give a damn. Who at least pretend like they appreciate your business and want you to come back. I've been coming here regularly since they opened and at one point, my friends and I were there multiple times a week.... you'd think that the server would say "hey! welcome back! good to see you guys again!" anything! but no, the attitude of most of the servers is that they just want to take my order so they can get back to the conversation they were having with their friends at the bar. (most of whom, work there or have worked there at one point) Don't get me wrong....not all the servers are like that. but most are. I bartend, and work in the industry...... i guess i'm just expecting that little something extra....
