Not exactly a 4 star. Not so much a 3 either.
My mom and I get most of our household goodies here simply because they're durable and don't cost a lot. To prepare for a visit from my friends from Hong Kong, we came here last month to get essential bathroom supplies like towels, a towel basket, rugs, fleece blankets, a couch cover, etc. The place is huge but items are categorized neatly under large signs, it's hard to miss.
It's not Bed Bath & Beyond or Ikea but it offers some good choices that range from basic to country to vintage. The only slight struggle meticulous ladies will find is how bed sheets, curtains, rugs are not separated by color. You will have to dig in and go through a few bad eggs before finding what you want. On days when the stars are not aligned, you could leave with nothing at all. This is why my mom and I like to keep in mind that we always go to Burlington with two expectations: to buy or not to buy. Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're not.
But if you do, you're bound to find it for cheap. I have a habit of keeping a memory box under my bed. Any significant scrap paper or present that holds a memory goes there. Over the years, my memory boxes have filled so I came here to do a little research and got to buy these really elegant photo boxes with bird designs for only about $5. Ever since then, I like to come here just to look around for things I might need in the future. Give it a try and ladies, take your mom or friends with you. You'll have a good time.
