| - Our daughter started showing an interest in archery when she was 8. Last year, for Christmas, we finally bought her a bow. My husband took her to the Clark County outdoor range to practice and, while there, they met someone who referred her to Impact Archery. We took her the first week in February and signed her up for JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development league), and she loves it. I can't say enough good things about Impact, the owner, his family, the Shop Shooters, employees, the JOAD kids, and the other customers. This community that is nurtured by Impact Archery has become family to us.
If you or your child are interested in archery, I highly recommend Impact Archery. They will point you in the right direction, get you set up, and probably become part of your family, too.
But, enough of me telling you that Impact is the Cheers of archery. (Please pardon the 80s reference and search YouTube for Cheers if you are unfamiliar.)
Impact Archery has a great pro shop with compound and recurve bows and accessories. They also have a repair shop. The range is indoors and climate controlled (if you get cold easily, bring a sweatshirt). There are 20 lanes and you can shoot up to 20 yds. There is usually someone on the range who loves this sport and will answer questions if you have them.
Archery is fun for everyone and Impact Archery is a great family-friendly place to practice!
