This is the first bbt place I've seen without a line most of the time!! I usually go to T&T next door for grocery runs and more often than not, this place is pretty empty. There's likely fierce competition with grotto close by (they pretty much got the same aesthetic going on).
The tea is definitely strong and the flavour is there, but for some reason, the flavour of the sweetness (idk if that makes any sense) is different from any other bbt place I've been to. There's something about the sugar they use or maybe it's an ingredient they add to their classic milk tea but it's off. The tapioca is nice and chewy, i found it too sweet because I could taste almost a sugar shell around each ball that was sweeter than the tea itself.
Prices here are a little more expensive than other places, but they also do offer some speciality drinks you're not going to find elsewhere. There's decent amount of seating and so far it seems quiet enough for you to bring a laptop and do some work. Although it might be awkward when it's only you and the couple of employees...
