This is a late review. We took advantage of a groupon deal(50% off+ free bottle of wine)in mid-January for dinner. We avoided the long lines by booking our table thru opentable.
The moment you enter the restaurant, it's like being transported into a small town somewhere in France. Impressive, until you notice all the tables that are so close to one another.
Went around and there is so much food to choose from. Of course I starved myself expecting to be awed by the food and the wine. Here's the verdict:
Wine(Red) - tasted like vinegar :( ...could have used it as a dipping sauce for the crab meat
Food - I love crab legs. They had them but they were still half frozen, no taste and barely had any meat in them. Disappointing. Their mediterranean station was tucked into a corner. The food looked like it's been sitting there forever. Nothing really impressed me except the crepe station. The dessert station had a lot of varieties but only the creme brulee was good.
Our server was nice but seemed overwhelmed.
Would I pay full price to dine at Le Village? No way! It's not even worth the deal we got from groupon.
