| - Great spot, friendly staff, good food and drinks with a ton of TVs, pool tables, darts, fooze, buck hunter etc. Reasonable prices and open floor plan. Great friendly atmosphere and like the other reviews report its not a "Scottsdale scene", this is where you and your friends go for a beer, to watch a game, shoot some pool (or fireball shots..maybe both), or stop in midway through a disc golf game. Patio is dog friendly so weekends its a great place to walk and enjoy a beer with other dog lovers. This is a great spot for a casual night with friends, trivia on wed and Fridays is better then most places trivia (actually challenging general knowledge not just filled with crap pop culture questions, its actually good for all ages). One of the few true sports bars on the east side of town. The owner AL is there most times and takes great pride in his bar and sponsors allot of local teams and charity events!
Food Review (Updated 1/22/16): Well when I had written the original review they had just redone the whole menu and everything was fresh way above expectations for a while. Although I still go there all the time and love this place I felt I need to update the food part as it was not accurate any more. The food is still way better but has slipped back to above average bar food, and in the Scottsdale market with gastro pubs and sports bars everywhere if your just going for a great food experience there are allot of choices specialize in food. If you want a great neighborhood sports bar with good food and tons of TVs this is your place. Quesadilla, Egg McDuke Burger, Chicken Tenders, are still my favorites.
FAMILY?: During normal lunch and dinner hours it is fine for a family but if you take your kids to watch a football game at a bar on Sundays maybe you should read some more parenting books and not be mad that its a BAR environment (a few of other reviews complain about not kid friendly during football, personally i hope they don't come back as they really mess up my football experience giving me dirty looks when I curse the Damn Packers... its a sports bar people).
FOOTBALL: DA BEARS!!!!
Unlike zips and other venues in Scottsdale you can actually watch all the games at once there is a wall of tvs not just scattered tvs. Get there at least 30 min before your game on Sundays as it fills up and you need to snag a table or grab one from people leaving from prior game. It is a go to football spot for most people in a 5 mile radius.
