Been to Nando's quite a few times. Everytime I get a hankering for some South African food (nostalgic) I drop by this Nando's location. And ever time, the service is slow.
But it's really all about the chicken. And if you don't get hot or extra hot, I wouldn't hold it against you. I prefer mild (lemon garlic) since I like to taste what I'm eating without having to hose my mouth down.
My favourite dish is the chicken liver with a Portuguese bun. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
General observations:
Order and pay at the counter. No biggie I suppose, but I always find it odd when the credit card machine asks how much tip you want to add, when they've actually haven't done anything for you yet.
You'll get a number which you can then take to your table and after a little patience, they'll find you and bring you your order. Good food once you actually get it!
