| - This place came highly recommended to me by a coworker who gets her hair done at Globe Salon on a regular basis. Two things she told me before when i went there were: dont agree to the toner treatment - its not worth it and go to Cassie. I did see Cassie and she did a great job with the hair - an exact match to what i wanted. The haircut though... Was alright, kinda pretty, just not what i wanted. I had layers in my hair and told her i would like to cut my hair so i can get rid of some of them. Well, i left with more layers. Its not a bad thing, just not exactly as i wanted. Hey, maybe i am wrong and my hair would've been ugly the way i wanted it cut, so she made a judgement call. Also, my coworker said Cassie charges her $119 for highlites. When i checked out, my total was $221, which included partial highlites for $79 and toner for $32. I did not ask for toner, nor was it offered, it just popped on the bill, no ideea when it was applied either. Also, if full highlites are $119, shouldnt partial be half of that? (It said on the receipt 1/2 highlites).
Overall, great color and customer service, but a bit too high in cost.
*update* aftet two washes (with shampoo from john frieda for color) the red is all gone from my hair. Yeup, $221+tip later and all the red is gone and my hair is looking natural.
