| - Well, if you HAVE to go to a mall, I'd recommend Crocker Park. The "Disneyesque" stores, residences and restaurants seems like a scene out of the movie, Truman. Everything is spic and span. It does lack a little soul, culture? Can you really live here without going bonkers? The "waterpark" feature is cool and a nice benevolent touch from the developer, as well as the other outdoor seating and gardens. On a nice day, it's good to go, especially if you want to sit and wait while others shop.
They have every chain retail store imaginable. Its connected to a Regal Movie theatre in one corner, so you can drop kids off at a movie, while you shop, or vice versa. I have to say, there is not much diversity here. Pretty wonderbread. Also, I had the same experience as a previous reviewer, where I was honked rather rudely as I was crossing the street by a Mercedes driver. If you choose to live here, then you have to contend with the pedestrians since it is marketed as a pedestrian mall! You can't have that small town shopping feeling if you want to zip through traffic.
While most stores are on the high end, I did find some bargains at H&M. They even had a guy in a kiosk fixing cracked iphones. That was cool.
