  • I initially picked this business because it had free towing and I saw it on Yelp. My cars left front tire was messed up so I could not drive it. I was told if I did not get the work done I would be charged for the towing. All I wanted was a free estimate so I could decide if I wanted to get the work done. When the shop picked my car up I was sent a letter titled preliminary estimate which basically states I am signing all my rights away to my car and allowing them to make all decisions with repairs. I asked why I had to sign this letter because I have never seen a shop give me a letter like this before. He explained he had to take parts off my car that may not go back on. So basically, if I did not get the work I would be stuck with a car with missing pieces. I felt like my hands were tied so I went ahead and signed the paperwork but added any work that needed to be done had to be approved by me first. After getting an estimate there were several things on the estimate I know I did not need. I had to tell him to only fix the items that were related to the front right tire. The other damage on my car was exterior front bumper and right front panel. After, Rob fixed the work related to my tire he said he had to take it for alignment and stated it didn't pass and I needed more work done. So I allowed him to fix the steering gear and linkage. He tried to tell me I needed a new pump too. After, those two items were fixed my car passed alignment, according to Rob. Rob had my car for about 2 weeks. Which I could not understand what was taking so, long. I ask him if he could fill out a form for DMV so I could get the salvage car registered. I already had the paperwork in my hands but was told by DMV he should have it so I thought I would have him fill it out to make the process faster. I looked over everything my car needed to pass and my car had no issues. He advised me he couldn't fill out the form because my car would not pass. Frustrated and disgusted I just wanted to get my car from that place. I showed up and they were trying to get me to sign off on the car without even letting me test drive the car first. I advised I wanted to see how my car was running. When the guy came out not Rob he open the passenger door causing damage because the door should not be open until I get the right front panel replaced. The car was stiff in the steering which could have been from the replaced piece. When I open the trunk because the lights and tire cover were missing from the back seat I found them in the truck. The tire cover and been squished by shoving the box with the lights up against it. Which is molded to go in the internal behind the tire. Rob charged me over $1000.00 in labor at $ 95.00 hour. I do not think all this time was used to fix my car. I think he over charged me on labor. I paid $2009 and some change for a car I could not even get registered because Rob refused to fill out a form for DMV. That same week I took my car to another mechanic approved by DMV and he filled out the form after a brief inspection of which I was only charged for the inspection. This guy is a crook and the business looks like a hole in the wall. I would not advised to go to this shop. And please Rob or anyone affiliated with this company do not reach out to me. I am done dealing with you! FYI I am a real customer I have several other reviews. And I never got discounts!
