  • I lived at a property ran by this company for two years. During my time there, they were slow to respond and fix maintenance issues, the owner left a lot of debris and trash that I was told to remove myself, at my own expense. This was after I moved in and was told BEFORE I moved in that it would be removed by the owner prior to my move in. At the end of my tenancy I was then charged for removal of it. I was also promised landscaping as a selling point to get me to sign the lease, this never happened. I never had full space to the garage due to the owner leaving a heavy couch in the home that I had to have my movers put into the garage. I then had to coordinate with someone to come get it as the landlord nor the owner ever coordinated anyone to pick it up. Almost monthly HOA sent complaints due to the outside upkeep of the house. I was given broken screens when I moved in, no screens on other windows. HOA sent several complaints about the broken screens to the point where Jim Elfine simply told me to remove it and did not offer to fix it. Upon my move out , I was never given the opportunity to schedule a move out inspection with the landlord. I informed him of broken cabinets a month before, that appeared to be put on with just wood glue and just fell off. He never responded and said this would be my responsibility. Overall the level of upkeep and communication this company and specifically Jim Elfine provides, is horrid. At one point our light switch in the bathroom broke and upon informing him of this immediately, he took for days to repair. The same with our heater, he took 2 months to properly fix it. Jim Elfine comes up with fraudulent charges to deduct from the renters deposit like removal of 40,000 lbs of trash when in reality it was 99 percent of the owners trash and other belongings. Stay away from this place, I cannot emphasize it enough!! You will be sorry you ever rented from the corrupt company!
