I am terminating my business relationship with Guitar Center.....I've been dealing with the Scottsdale location ( and the Tempe store prior to the Pavillion opening ) for more than 20 years. I've been a loyal customer, making major equipment purchases, as well as bringing my students in to upgrade their instruments. After showcasing a Classical guitar to a student ( me selling and the " sales associate doing nothing more than writing it up ), I was informed that Guitar Center no longer allows teachers to leave their business cards for sales people to give to customers. This arrangement strikes me as one-sided, and reflects poorly on Guitar Center. It seems customer loyalty doesn't mean anything to the policy makers there. I'll take my business ( and my student's business ) elsewhere......Jack Alves
