| - This is a great option to experience the unique, exotic flavors of the Philippines. Our party of five ordered several things from the menu, including Shanghai lumpia, pancit bihon, crispy pork lechon, pinakbet beef calderata, and of course chicken adobo, and we shared all family style. The dishes were prepared and presented nicely, coming from the kitchen over a short period of time. The serving sizes are a bit lean given the pricing, but nonetheless we were all happily satiated at the end of dinner. The host/servers did not hover, but were readily available and responsive when we needed something. It was a very friendly and relaxing atmosphere.
While we did not order anything from the bakery on this trip, I have previously stopped by the bakery to buy Filipino treats. The taste of cassava, ube, coconut, mango, and various other exotic flavors proliferate the large selection of desserts. The Filipino sweet breads are hard to find in Phoenix, but they are here at your fingertips.
Overall, it is a FILIPI-YES to this Filipino restaurant.
