  • This was my DD to drop by when I had to buy donuts for my students. Every quarter I always get donuts for my best class for their grade point average. Working for a public school, average class sizes are between 30-40 so that's quite a few donuts. I came in here on Friday and I tried to order 2.5 dozen because I only had to get 30 donuts (luckily it was my smaller math class that won). The lady said very rudely that I could only order 2 dozen. I asked her what she meant by that. She responded with "you have to call in a day before to tell us that you want more than 2 dozen now so that we don't run out of donuts by the end of the night." I've never had a problem ordering more than 2 dozen donuts before so I was feeling very stressed out since I needed 6 more donuts. I asked if I could buy some muffins. She said maybe 1 or 2. I totally understand that you need to know about the larger orders but it's also a Friday. The last day of the semester and people buy donuts on Friday. Why wouldn't your inventory be increased anyways? I left feeling stressed out because I didn't have enough for my students and upset. I'm not sure if that's just a rule for this store or all stores but there should have been a national message to tell everyone that's the new policy.
