I just played here a few days ago with my wife, and we both left agreeing that it was money well spent. Playing in the Peak of summer heat may not be for everybody, but it was hard to beat the price! We had so much fun we ended up playing the front 9 again when we were done, heat be damned! I found the layout of the course pretty forgiving for a desert links style course. The fairways were wide enough generally to allow for a little bit of spraying off the tees. The greens were FAST, and it took me a few holes to adjust my putts to the speed. The fairways were in pretty good shape generally, although I did come across a few dead spots here and there. I didn't get the feeling it was due to not enough watering, as the fairways were nice an lush.
The best part of the course was the excellent service we received. James at the front desk was AWESOME, and we'll definitely be returning the next time we're in the Phoenix area to pay him a visit. He was extremely helpful, and friendly providing a level of service I rarely enjoy at public courses.
I accidentally locked my keys in our car when we left at the end of the day. Well rather than leave, James and Oscar both stayed to make sure AAA made it out OK and got our car going again. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
A+
