  • Women be ware A few weeks ago I noticed a leak in my bathroom toilet and after some research I found out it was pretty simple to fix. My boyfriend and I took the toilet apart and off to Lowes I went with the broken piece to replace. I thought it would be pretty simple; bring I'm old part, look for new part, and done. Boy was I wrong, I found the part I needed but there were two different types. Trying to figure out by myself which one was the right one and a few employees walking past me not once offering help I finally stopped a old gentleman and asked him how do I know which part I needed. He looked at me laughed, and said of course well what kind of toilette do you have? I told him the brand then with a chuckle he says of course a women wouldn't know that answer either and then went on to telling me there two different types toilets. Well how am I supposed to know I use it for two things if you know what I mean. I told him thanks and I'll figure it out myself. So he walks away and talks about me with another coworker and there standing there at the end of the isle laughing at me in plain sight where I can also hear them. I couldn't believe the outmost disrespect I received. After face timing to see what the inside of the bowl looks like for me to determine what part I needed another women walks into the isle. Now she was definitely dressed for summer with heels on. The gentleman that I had to wave down to help me, practically sprinted down the isle to help her. Of course he was as sweet as pie to her and didn't treat her like a dumb a**. I was shocked by how sexist and disrespectful their employees are. I will never step another foot into any of their stores, I rather drive the extra 10 miles to home depot where women work and the men are happy to help you.
