  • Spent $1500 for a full HIGH END paint job. The hood had problem with the metallic, The driver's side mirror was not completely painted on the inside surface closest to the window. I brought this up to them when I picked it up. Gave me a song & Dance about the hood saying it sometimes happens. THAT is when I told them my father OWNED a body shop for 40 years AND I had worked there 6 years. I'm not an idiot and that is complete BS. You didn't properly prepare the surface. NOW, it is 8 MONTHS later, the paint is completely cured and we've brought it in to get the work done. When they first painted it, they did not pull the moldings on the doors and so when the painter sprayed it, he bridged the molding and door panel with paint. Now it's cracking out and it will do that EVERY TIME. Brought it in on MONDAY, here we are FRIDAY... and no car 1 Week for: 1 hood, 1 Mirror, some touch-up. Sure, there IS a warranty. You better have a spare vehicle because... "they're real busy..." They tell me TUESDAY now. ADDENDUM: Got it Wednesday. While waiting for it, I asked them to pull up my original receipt. On it was listed that I paid for sealer. Sealer prevents the kind of thing on the hood I had to bring it back for. Make you own conclusions. Knowing what I know now. I WOULD HAVE PASSED. Worst part is they were recommended to me.
