  • I really wanna give this place 5 stars, but can't...It's a Golden gem with some of the city's best bar food.. Not worth 5 stars cuz: It's smokey from the connected bar. If you're not a smoker, it's the grossest thing in public. Should be against the law to smoke in public. The portions are inconsistent. I usually order the breakfast skillet. Whether 2am, or 12noon, sometimes it fills the skillet with a heap of yummy goodness and sometimes it's LITERALLY half the amount. No, not a smaller "lunch" portion. Just inconsistent portions. Plus small extra things are "just" soso, like their toast. Why it's worth 5 stars: Beer-battered brat bites! So frigen good. I get one or two orders every time I visit. Love em. The waitresses are usually pretty damn nice and friendly. Even if they are being fake, I don't care. They're not my friends, haha. The breakfast skillet is one of the tastiest in town, and a great deal for 8 bucks (when you get the normal full portion). Very large menu, with great prices.
