Lis Doon Varna will have their grand opening September 18, 2008. They are currently open with a limited menu.
The building is lovely. It is divided into different sections with some more private areas and boths and then open areas. It definitely has a unique and welcoming atmosphere.
They are a Guiness Pub...which I hear is sort of a big deal. People are excited about that (as a non-beer drinker I am out of the loop on that piece).
The food was delicious. I am anxious to see their full menu.
Their "chips" aren't french fries or traditional potato chips, but real potato chips...potatos sliced and cooked.
The service was friendly but slow. She was apologetic that she was in over her head. I am guessing that's part of the reason why you open before your opening...to work out the kinks and get everyone trained.
I'm looking forward to coming back after September 18th and reviewing again.
