  • I was really looking forward to eating here. The food looked good. I got a large Hopeful poke bowl. I was sooo hangry, I dove right into the meal. I was extremely disappointed. There was no balance in the bowl at all. It was like eating a pasty, slimy, flavourless nothing. I think I only continued to eat it because I paid $18+ and I was starving. To improve the taste, I feel it needs more acidity to balance the over zealous amount of oleogustus ingredients. Also adding some crunchy bits to offset the mushy. And to be clear, I added kimchi to my bowl to maybe balance it - but it wasn't enough. It needed more. Overall, hugely disappointing for the taste, texture, cost, and hype.
