  • I really wanted to like this place since I live 5 minutes away. The first time I went (2 years ago), I cut them some slack. I called 45 minutes before they closed and asked if they could fit me in for a basic manicure. They said YES. I said I didn't want them to be rushed and they said it should be fine. Welp, I was in and out in under 10 minutes. The tech moved so fast, hardly cut my cuticles right, didn't massage my hand with lotion at all, and I had to tell her to please get the dirt out from under my nails. You could see the dirt even with my polish on (I had a light color). The service was terrible. Yesterday I went again- 2 years later... Only because I was looking for a pedicure around 6:15pm and they were the only place open (they close at 8pm on Saturdays- so they still had PLENTY of time). I was also hoping the first time was just a fluke. I WAS OUT IN 15 MINUTES!!!!! That is not a good thing for me, maybe it is for some people but I get pedicures to relax. The tech once again (someone different from 2 years ago) RUSHED through it. There was no one waiting and they were NOT closing so, maybe this is just their thing? It was so so terrible. She didn't even massage my legs AT ALL. Not even for a second. She quickly put the sandy feeling stuff on (I can't even say rubbed it on) and then immediately wiped it off. Same with the lotion. She quickly put it on and then took hot towels and used them to wipe off the lotion immediately. She didn't even let me enjoy the hot towels for a second. I was so confused. I always tip 18-20%. Even if I don't care for the service. I usually just won't go back and will follow up with a review but I don't want to punish the one tech because maybe she was taught to do it that way by the owner? or was having a bad day? Or was tired because someone called out and she was working all day? who knows. I paid $52 after tax and tip- for a 15 minute service and one of the worst pedicures I have ever had. Sure, she painted them nicely, but...the service was awful. If you get pedicures to relax and enjoy the massage part- DON'T GO HERE. If you are in a rush and just want to be in and out, this is the place for you. Oh, also, make sure to have cash for tips.
