  • I give Keith and My Tree Guy an extra star only because of a generally good history, at least in previous years. But their recent treatment of a good, long-time customer is unforgivable.Something has gone terribly wrong in the management systems of this company over the last year or two. I give Keith credit for responding to my call when I was out of town, telling him that a large tree in my front yard had fallen onto my neighbor's roof. He showed up, sent me photos for my insurance company, and got the branches off the roof and removed the majority of the tree in an expeditious manner. But the stump remains, and the irrigation system is leaking from the damage. It can't be repaired until the stump is out; after four promised dates of removal and four no shows (only one of them with notification), I gave up. After 2 no shows, he offered to remove the stump without charging the final $200 (which I'm glad I didn't pay when I paid for the first part of the job), but who needs empty promises. I got tired of hand watering my yard while waiting through 2 weeks of unfulfilled promises and unreturned calls. I'm done.
