  • From what I can tell, this hotel chain is slowly dying. More and more of the facilities are closing down. So I suspect there is little corporate support. That being said, I would have to comment for readers not to expect much in the way of comfort. Upon arrival I found the lobby door locked. You have to ring a doorbell and wait outside for someone to come open the door for you...hopefully, this doesn't happen to you when it's hot. The room definitely had signs of wear and tear. The second bed in my room had the sharp edge of the metal box frame sticking out about 3 to 4 in...very dangerous! I repositioned the mattress so the sharpe edge stuck out on the side closest to the wall where I wouldn't walk much. The bed was nice and comfortable. AC is an in-wall unit...I prefer central air which is much quieter, but it does the trick. It has free WiFi...so that's a plus. The parking lot is in good shape so no issues there. I stayed at this hotel because of its location, which was close to where I wanted to be and because of the relatively low price (appx $56 after adding in all fees/taxes). It's on a busy street so you need to expect some road noise. Also, the Light Rail runs down the street so expect to hear some train noise although it's minimal. The road is split with the train running down the middle. So rooms furthest from the road are probably quietest. I slept with earplugs in mostly because I wanted to ensure that I got a good night's sleep...I don't suspect it is absolutely necessary as everyone is different. So for me, I think this place was a little over-priced for what you get. It'll work for you in a pinch for a night or two. But I wouldn't recommend a long term stay.
