| - It was a friend's birthday and she decided to celebrate here. There were only 9 of us and we went on a Wednesday night, and it was my first time.
First off, great ambience, and the staff was quite friendly. Our service was good, and the food was excellent. I indulged in their sashimi appetizer, which was fresh and quite tasty; definitely a great start. Instead of the steak (I know, I know lol) I opted for a Kobe burger cooked medium rare, and I couldn't be happier (wish I could've finished it but at least I got to take the rest home ;P). I sampled a few other things also off of everyone else's plate, such as the potato leek soup, and potato gnocchi in truffle sauce... that alone to me was worth it!
I really liked that they offered "organic" items on their menu. Kudos for that!
As a bonus, I actually just found out a friend was working there since I saw him bussing tables and told him it was my friend's birthday. They came out with a beautiful dessert "stone palette" with the words "Happy Birthday" on it in chocolate. The smores were awesome, as were the two types of ice cream/gelato and cake. Well presented and super yummy.
Would definitely dine here again. :)
