My 3 year old son started classes in June 2015 when he turned 3. The first day he cried and cried and cried because he was terrified. The next class he LOVED it and now I can't keep him out of our pool. He gets really excited when it's swim lesson day. It really helped having other kids in the class that talked to him so he wouldn't be so scared. He likes to follow the other kids who are more advanced and copy what they do. I am glad that they keep the class sizes small. We started off with two days a week and went down to one day a week due to other commitments. He is almost ready to move up a level and I am so proud of him. He has come a long way in 2.5 months! He has learned how to scale the wall, jump in, swim under water and float on his back. I can't wait to see what he will learn next. I tried teaching him myself prior to joining and had no luck. I couldn't get him past the steps in our pool. The instructors have the magic touch and it's fun for him. Win win situation. FYI- If you sign up and decide to quit you need a 30 day drop notice, and if you need to miss a class make sure to call ahead and they will give you a makeup day that doesn't expire. You can also do a free trial class to see if it's something you like.
