  • Before my appointment we had a little mixup/ misunderstanding when it came to a deal I had seen online for color, however, Martika understood where I was coming from and stood by me through that situation. Based on Martika, I give five stars. A lot of the time when I go to salons it's more of a chore and a lot of waiting and getting bored, however, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Martika. The time I was there it went by fast because she is very personable and conversational (not the generic conversation you would normally have every time with a stylist). At the beginning of my appointment we had a consultation and she set the right expectations, walking me through the steps she would take to achieve my hair color (I did not get a cut). I had her full, undivided attention which was nice because at most places I find my stylist running around trying to do 500 things at once between clients. I highly recommend Martika at Fortees Salon and thank her for a great experience and adding dimension to my previously brassy, dull hair.
