| - Leigh (Ly) is the owner and the person I've gone to twice now. I'll start with what I like. I like that it is small and not overly crowded, so they are able to take their time to do a good job. I also like that the polish from my manicure and pedicure lasts longer than when I've gone anywhere else in the area, and I typically bring my own, so I know that has nothing to do with it. It is pure skill only! The pedicures are pretty good too. I'm not a fan of "legicures" lol, which is what most nail techs do...rub all up your leg and neglect the foot massage part. Ly did not do that. She did a good job with my pedicure and foot massage although I would have liked more pressure on the foot massage part, especially on the ball of the foot since I wear heels frequently for work. She did say she had carpal tunnel though, so that's understandable. Their prices are very fair as well.
Most nail techs turn their noses up when you bring your own polish, but she didn't! My first time there, I had a couple, and she actually did a manicure using more than one color for me w/o a problem. No doubt I've found my permanent nail shop!
I can't say much negative about the place except that I wish the mani/pedi had a few more options, such as sugar scrub for the hands or something like that. That's the only reason I took away one star. My nails grow quickly, and my cuticles are thick. She does a great job on that. She also did a freehand design on my big toes, and it was so pretty! I've gotten plenty of compliments. Oh, and the conversation is good as well. We actually have a lot in common!
