One of my local friends recommended this Indian buffet as their go to place, so we went. Parking is good, plenty of good size spaces just outside. The server was pleasant greeted us immediately upon entering and found us a booth. He gave us a .thorough explanation of the lunch buffet.
This is review is relevant for the weekend buffet on a Sunday afternoon. First impression was nice modern decor and fast friendly service. After previewing the buffet my mouth was watering in preparation for the feast that was about to go down. After filling up my plate it was time for the show.
I started with a bite of both the tikka masala with chicken and paneer. The base sauce was thin and spicy. The sag paneer was even more spicy and lacking the richness my tastebuds are accustomed to. I went back for Gulab Jamun and Mango custard to cool down my mouth.
Overall I've grown accustomed to slightly less spicy and more rich flavored Indian cuisine. The service, cleanliness and decor were great, but the food was too spicy and curry seemed watered down. To each his own.
