My cat, Fluffy, had been a patient there since he was 6 weeks old, 7 years total. He came down with what was diagnosed as an upper respiratory infection in early August. The vet gave him a shot of antibiotics and sent us in our way. We came back one to two times per month until mid December since his health kept declining. We continually kept getting the same diagnosis and treatment those four months. When my cat woke up and couldn't walk we were finally told it could be something more and should see a specialist. Unfortunately too much time had passed and there was little that could be done for my poor cat by then. We spent thousands trying to save him and he suffered greatly. I feel very guilty that I trusted the vets there. My cat passed away on March 4th thanks to the negligent care he suffered at Banfield. Please don't make the same mistake I did with my previous cat :(
