  • I've been in a lot of really good bookstores in Stockholm, London, Los Angeles, etc. The Book Gallery is as good as it gets for used books. The photos on Yelp really don't do the store justice. I spent 4 hours in the store and saw no more than 3/5 of what they have for sale. The owner and his staff were very pleasant and helpful, answering all my questions and helping me find books I was looking for. Their prices were very fair: the hardcover books I purchased were in great condition yet priced far lower than Amazon's prices for even the paperback versions of the same titles. Highly recommended!
