If i could give a negative review i would. This is an old, rundown, dirty motel. It claims to be a 2 star on par with a Best Western or Days Inn but it is not in any stretch of the imagination even a half star. Our non-smoking room reeked of smoke, the carpet was old, smelly and dirty (probably just stained from years of use). The chair in the room was also full of stains. The bed was like laying in a field, so bumpy, hard and worn down to the nub. The sheets are thread bare and pilly. (You know how cheap sheets form little pills on them after many washes.) The desk in the room had giant burn marks on it. The bathtub was dingy, stained and old. All the cracks and crevices were black, there were also weird streaks and splatters on the wall like random red streaks on the wall in front of the toilet. The wallpaper is peeling, the slide lock on the door is broken and all the furniture is from 1986.
I've stayed in hostels nicer than this. We were supposed to be there 2 nights but left after one. Now to be fair there were construction materials everywhere so they are supposedly renovating but it would have to be a complete gut job for this place to be better.
I know the name is Americas Best Value Inn but there should be cleanliness standards. We didn't need the parking or shuttle amenities so there was no value at the Inn for us.
