| - I'm a Southern girl, raised in TN. So, when I moved to Las Vegas, I just about gave up on finding anything near what we in the South call "BBQ." Other places claim to have BBQ (ahem, Famous Dave's) but they DO NOT. Rollin Smoke is heaven on a spit. They know what they are doing and they do it well. If you are super hungry and want something that will hit the spot, go to Rollin Smoke. These guys are from the Carolinas (sorry, can't remember if it's North or South, apologies), and they do BBQ well. I won't go into whether this is dry rubbed or not because if you are from Las Vegas, you won't even know what I'm talking about anyway. Just go there if you want great BBQ here. You'll love it.
Also, for those folks who complain about Rollin Smoke running out BBQ, I have to remind folks who don't know that real BBQ takes time. Lots of time. Smoking is a dedicated process, and if this restaurant runs out of meat, they run out of meat. They can't magically smoke more in 30 minutes or less. So, get there early so you can get what you want. My kids had the pork sandwich and it was huge and they ate it all. The bacon potato salad is heaven. My husband had the 3 meat Brisket Dog, and loved it. I had the Smoked Meatloaf, and I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. I had plenty of leftovers for my husband and I to share. We saw (and were frightened of) the Outlaw Burger, as it was easily a foot tall. So, again, please note: Bring Your Appetite.
This is a "get in line and order" place, with seating in three different rooms. We loved sitting in the room with the "Tanked" fish tank that used to be their original smoker.
