Met Dr. Kavlich for an introductory visit, looking for a new primary doctor. It was a shock from all my other health care providers -- my other doctors want to shake hands, get a little history about you, and make a good impression. He came into the room, announced his name and turned his back to read the nurse's notes. I mentioned some symptoms with my eyes and he gave a prescription for medicine without any explanation of what the medicine does or how he expected it could help me. And then he left without any pleasantries, nice to meet you, hope to see you back, thanks for stopping in. It was not the personal touch I was looking forward to in a private practice. Also, the carpets inside are all stained and the entire place feels a bit dirty and unkempt.
