although this market is larger, i prefer the one on Dobson in Mesa. The meat selection is pretty poor for a Korean/Asian market. The only advantage over the smaller Mesa store is the larger selection of banchan (korean side dishes).
I recommend the kimbap (Korean sushi). It's actually better than some kimbap places in SoCal. and their fresh kimchi is SO GOOD.
The meat counter guys are... loud and crazy. One guy was complaining/angrily yelling about something/someone to the other guys the WHOLE time i was there! Loudly. And not just behind the counter, but when he came out to re-stock the meat. like he was pissed that he had to put more meat out again. uhhhh ok.
the sales are decent, and if you need korean food supplies, this is much better than going to Lee-Lees or Ranch 99 (or whatever it's called now).
