I'm sad to be writing this review but I have to update my 5 stars down to a 3. Since the opening 3 years ago, I've dined here a few times. Recently, my experience was not so great in terms of quality. I don't know if they changed chefs/management or what, but I was quite disappointed in the quality and it does not come close to my 1st experience.
Some of the let downs:
- Chicken and Waffle: Served in an ice cream waffle cone, it contained a chicken wing and 2 pieces of waffle fries. Chicken was super dry and was not savory at all.
- Tonkatsu: Broth was a complete miss. Tasted super fatty and lacked depth. The pieces of pork were mostly fat and thin.
- Paella: Dry rice, mussels super overcooked, and not much seasoning
- Congee/Porridge: Too watery
The highlights are the steamed crab legs where you can get them at the Italian station now. Also, the desserts are always awesome. Is the buffet great? Yes, lot of options but the "gourmet" food I raved about... not the same anymore. I would be hesitant to recommend this place now.
**Total Rewards Pricing for Weekend Dinner which starts at 3pm is $52. It use to be about $35 when they first opened up. Definitely now one of the highest costing buffet's in Caesars.
