  • I had not been to this bar in about 15 years, which means that it was McGinty's or something equally scuzzy last time I set foot in it. When a friend suggested we meet up here, I was naturally a bit skeptical. However, I was really pleasantly surprised by the overhaul and the improved clientele. The taps- at least 15- are nirvana for a beer dork. You'll find IPAs, wheats, and seasonals in the mix. The pool table I remember so fondly is still there (but a bit better-looking now) and it's surrounded by leather couches, comfy chairs, and a fireplace. After a long workday, it was the perfect recipe for relaxation.
