  • Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Mint salon. I liked it very much when they were on Ellsworth. I first went to Haley, and she was great. But then she left. So I started going to Brandy, and she was great. Then she left. Hmm, a trend? So I then tried Danielle, and wasn't so impressed with her cut. At this point, the trend of good stylists leaving was enough of a concern that I started looking elsewhere to get my haircut. MCN, Avenue E, Whitehouse Salon, Alder Barber, and some others later - I've never come to find anybody I've liked as much as Haley or Brandy. So, I thought I'd come back to Mint's new location and get a cut from Kelley. It just wasn't a great experience. The door was open on a warm humid rainy day, so it was damp and uncomfortable inside. Kelley was friendly, but didn't come across as very professional. In the end, she cut off a lot more hair than I'd wanted, and left the sides pretty bushy and uneven, and kind of shrugged her shoulders, said my hair was hard to deal with, and that was that. Sad, but I won't be back.
