  • eeek IS RIGHT....and a GREAT BIG BUYER BEWARE!!.....While the reviews saying the prices are WAY higher than any other stores around are SPOT ON, the bigger issue and one that is a PET SAFETY issue is that this store is selling food that is nearly a year past date!...I purchased some canned Merrick's food without having my bi-focals on, only to go to open a can last night and saw that it was dated June 6, 2014!!!....My dogs have had some issues of late with nausea/vomiting and now I am starting to wonder if it is because I have been feeding them BAD dog food??? While you can often go a bit longer on some HUMAN canned foods, I'm not at all sure if this holds true for dog food.....I plan on sending some inquiries to the appropriate animal protection groups and see if there are any laws protecting PETS from pet food sold to unsuspecting owners at higher than normal prices for food that should be tossed!...I called a bit ago to tell them and the person I spoke with didn't act like this was unusual or an accident....she said she'd find some NEWER dates if I wanted to exchange the food.......Clearly, it is common practice....Anyway, I won't be back to this store...If you shop there, check the dates.....or your pets could pay the price.....
