  • What does it take to save the life of your beloved dog, who has epilepsy, and by all accounts, is getting worse? And by worse, I mean having a cluster of seizures, which last about 45 minutes once a week? More medicine? Tried it. Neurologist? Tried that too... And by this point, my husband and I were asking if it was her time for the "rainbow bridge." So, we tried what we felt was our last hope, getting her a little friend. And we watched and waited.... and waited.... and still waited. Our Daisy now only has one seizure about every six months. And our Zoe (whose name we didn't change, but altered to be Zoephine Boneapart because she is a little empress) is a fiesty lover who cuddles her sister at all times. She has also formed a singularly amazing bond with my husband, who always wanted a little (human) boy... but is now getting a dreamy eyed look at the possibility of a little girl. Zoe saved our family, and has enriched our lives... So if you are looking for a reason to live and to truly look at life as something to be savored, rescue!! And if you can, rescue from Foothills!!!!
