Not gonna lie, rolling up to this place, it looks shady as hell.
In an old motel converted to business, the Sand Dollar is by far a diamond in the rough when it comes to finding cool dive-y bars on this side of town. The inside is not what I was expecting, in a good way, with it's throwback era decor and artwork.
There's almost always live music playing, so there's great entertainment, even in the late night. Plenty of seating area along with obligatory pool tables and a couple other games.
Great selection of alcohol (the bourbonnn!) and the bartenders rock.
