  • A few months ago I wandered into Vera Wang. I'm getting married in the summer and was excited to finally have a reason to make an appointment to try on dresses. I'm not going to lie it crossed my mind to go in even before I was engaged, and I'm not one of those girls that have dreamt about their wedding since they were little (not that there is anything wrong with that). Anyway, the day finally came and I couldn't wait, but I was very disappointed with the service. I think they knew that I didn't have an unlimited budget and that I was also too sensible to be convinced otherwise. The thing is I called to tell them what my budget was and asked if it was worth me coming and they ensured me we could find something in my price range. The consultant that was assigned to me seemed tired and I got the impression it was at the end of her shift and she had places to be. When I did try on a dress they didn't have the proper clips all other places supply that help you get an idea of what the dress would look like tailored. After a couple of dresses she just wasn't interested in my sale or lack thereof. I've come to realize that customer service is extremely important to me and to think about the money I could possibly be spending it upset me even more. I'm sure if you have lots of money to spend you'll have a different kind of experience.
