| - Everything was good until they arrived at our apartment. Then the shadiness began.
Read over the contract to agree to pay, my 62 year old father asks what the insurance .60 per pound fee ( paid up front) was for.. and there was a long list of things. My father then asks " How do we know how much things weight? can you help me understand?"
Upon asking, the guy says " the insurance will tell you", and my father asks him," well what does that mean? can you clarify?"
and the guy says " well if it's going to be trouble, then bye " and leaves.
Yeah, completely SHADY business tactics. Clearly wants you to SIGN OFF on the agreement without READING or ASKING QUESTIONS. So they can load up on you after wards for all their fees that don't add up or make sense.
This is how they treat you if you ask, " causing trouble" for ASKING ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE SIGNING.
I would STAY CLEAR OF THIS BUSINESS. I would NOT be surprised if you are being charged for various things without your consent.
And by them walking out on you, they are FORCING you to sign a contract, because basically if you are moving on a certain day, they would be your only hope to move when it was planned.
Since when is asking a question over an agreement contract causing trouble?
Oh yeah, only to SHADY , MONEY GRABBERS who do not want you to know what you are being charged for.
No explanation for what it is either. Just another way to get more $$$ out of the customer.
Luckily we were able to find a REPUTABLE good company to be used after this experience.
Shame on them for being this way and i feel bad for the people who have used this company as you are probably being robbed without even knowing it.
My father is a SENIOR CITIZEN and was left without movers. They don't give a damn who they are attempting to rip off in their games.
Sneaky, shady, business tactics. AVOID THIS COMPANY.
This happened on June 27,2015 (06/27/15), just this last saturday so it's recent and probably has been going on since the company has began.
